Girls Should Stick to Girls' Sports

This is my favorite photograph from all of World War 2:

It's a group of Womens Airforce [one word] Service Pilots, or WASP – civilian volunteers who assumed virtually all Stateside flying responsibilities so that men could be freed for combat – walking away from a B-17, one of the three heavy bombers in the U.S. inventory in World War 2.

Now here's a recent pic of the entire crew of a C-5 Galaxay, one of the largest aircraft in the world:
