A Day Without Primaries Is Like a Day Without an Ass Full of Porcupine Quills

Yippee. So, I arrived at my local polling place 15 minutes after the polls opened, and I still had to wait for 25 minutes. The polling station was all set up: 7 or 8 ballot booths, I think. Unfortunately, they only had two voter-verification stations, creating a bottleneck that prevented the ballot booths from ever being all occupied at once. It took less time to vote than it did to be verified.
